CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIPS SCHEME IN UKRAINE: OPEN COMPETITION

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The British Government's Chevening Scholarships Scheme, which is managed by
the British Council, provides opportunities to undertake postgraduate study
or research in the United Kingdom for between three and twelve months.
International flights, course fees and living costs are all covered in full.
The British Government is offering up to ten Scholarships for the academic
year 2002/2003, to be awarded through open competition, in the following
subject areas: 
International Law	Public Administration	
Economic Policy & Reform	Human Rights	
Social Policy & Services Environmental StudiesMedia Studies Politics
 International Relations Studies (including International Trade)	
Police Studies (including Fighting International/ Organised Crime)	
Theological Studies	
Successful candidates will
*	be outstanding professionals in their field
*	have excellent written and spoken English
*	be aged under 35 at the time of application
*	already have a first degree ("Diploma of Specialist")
*	be citizens of Ukraine
