Title: Senior Media Advisor
Division: Media Development Division

Reports to: Director
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
IREX seeks a Senior Media Advisor for its Media Development Division in
Washington, DC.  The Senior Media Advisor will support the division's
current media development work and new business efforts.
Duties will include:
�Providing assistance to DC and field staff in project/activity design and
implementation, to include research, writing, coordination with other donors
�Traveling to field to assist with project implementation on an as-needed
basis
�Reviewing annual program workplans
�Develop and market new business concepts to government and private funders
�Other tasks as appropriate and assigned by the Director related to
achievement of the above tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
Media professionals with 10+ years in journalism and/or media management;
knowledge of and experience in international development, training, and
consulting; excellent communication skills, written and oral; experience in
proposal writing; knowledge of Southeast Europe and NIS.
