Seasons Greetings to All CivilSoc List Members!
May your holidays be happy and the year ahead be fulfilling for
all of you!
Thank you all for your participation in CivilSoc this past year, for
your interesting posts, and for your unfailing ability to provide
helpful solutions to the queries or appeals for assistance from other
list members. Thanks to the positive reputation you have developed
for CivilSoc, during the year our list continued to grow--to a
worldwide membership of 2,333 as of today!!
CivilSoc is an entirely private service. No government funds support
it; no foundations grants, either. If you have valued the service
that CivilSoc provides, please consider making a donation at this
time to help support it. Donations of as little as $10/year are a
help. If only ten percent of you donated this much, it would mean an
income of $2,333 dollars--enough to pay our office rent for six
months!!
we would be happy to send you a stamped, self-addressed envelope if
you pledge to make a donation. Just send us your postal address in a
reply to this message and we'll send out the stamped, addressed
envelope to your immediately.
Of course, if you can give more than $10--say $25 or $50--all the
better! We can also take donations of appreciated stock. Please
call to ask about this.
If you are ready to send in a donation with your own envelope and
stamp, please make your check out to "CSI" and send it to:

At this time, we want also to thank Partners International, based in
Washington, DC, which provides an excellent pro bono service in
hosting the CivilSoc listserv.

P.S. If you cannot afford to donate, you can help CivilSoc in another
way: Send us a brief message telling us what you like or don't like
about the service, and how we can improve it.
Thank you, and best wishes!
