English, one volunteer with some experience in web design to work with the
Center's web master on the English version of the CJES web site.
CJES is a non-profit organization monitoring and advocating for the rights
of journalists working in Russia, the CIS countries and the former Soviet
Union. Much of this work is carried out by CJES's network of correspondents
based throughout this region. Results from daily monitoring of media freedom
is featured at www.cjes.ru. CJES is an acknowledged authority on press freedom throughout the region.
Its reports are widely circulated throughout Russia and are closely followed
worldwide by those working in the area of human rights and the media situation
