High School and College Student Exchange

 

Art.StudyAbroad.com Art.StudyAbroad.com Programs are academic and summer abroad programs. They often offer the option of studying for either one semester (fall or spring, generally) or the whole year (both fall and spring semesters). Art.StudyAbroad.com is a directory resource to use to begin exploring Study Abroad Programs in arts as diverse as cooking, museum study and dance. 
Bridges for Education Teach conversational English in Eastern and Central Europe in the summer! From 1994 to 2001, BFE has organized 66 camps in eight countries sending about 750 teachers and college students to serve 8,500 students from 33 countries. Summer conversational camps are held in Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Poland. Tax deductible, earn college and in-service credit. Pay your airfare and low BFE administrative costs. Receive 4 weeks room and board including one week travel in the country.
Camp Counselors Russia CCRU began offering their Camp Counselor Program in Russia about 1990. It allows you to work as a counselor in a Russian summer youth camp for four to eight weeks from June through August.
Council on International Educational Exchange offers study and work camp experiences in the NIS for high school and undergraduate students.
Experiment in International Living The Experiment in International Living offers dynamic summer programs for high school students in over 26 countries around the world. For over 70 years, Experiment programs have provided transformational learning experiences to tens of thousands of young people.
German Academic Exchange Service

 administers academic exchanges between German institutions of higher education and similar institutions abroad. It also offers scholarships to foreign students.

InterUniversity Centre Canada is a private corporation active in study abroad, international development, as well as business support and training with reference to the USSR successor states and Eastern Europe.
PeopleLink Offers "Homestay" programs in Canada and the U.S.A. that are designed for the international exchange student. Foreign Studies Programs sponsored by PeopleLink include the International Exchange Student Homestay group programs, from 2 days to 3 months, and the 10 month studies abroad Academic Year Program.
SCI International Voluntary Service "Peace through deeds, not words" has been its motto since 1920 when Service Civil International (SCI) founder Pierre Ceresole encouraged multi-national volunteers to come together in work camps to help with physical and social reconstruction in war-torn sites of the First World War.
Through various non-profit partner organizations worldwide and through the SCI network of international and regional development, SCI IVS USA participates in the exchange of over 5,000 volunteers each year in short term 2-3 week international group workcamps and in long term 3-12 months volunteer postings in over 50 countries.

At its website, one can search study abroad programs by: Academic Year/Semester, Summer, Language, Subject, Intern Abroad/Volunteer, High School, Full Undergraduate Degrees, Intersession, ESL, TEFL Certificate, Summer Law, Summer Business, Adult Programs, and Teaching Programs. There are also Country Home Pages to find country-specific information such as currency, maps, weather, etc.
United States Information Agency (USIA) The NIS Secondary School Initiative was established under the FREEDOM Support Act (FSA) of 1992 to foster the exchange of young people between the United States, and the New Independent States (NIS) of Eurasia. Since 1993, more than 37,000 students and educators from Eurasia and the United States have participated in programs conceived under the Initiative. These have included exchange programs for high school students and educators funded through grants to private not-for-profit organizations and public educational institutions.  Current programs include: Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX); School Partnership Program; Teaching Excellence Awards; The American Academy in Tbilisi; and the School Connectivity Programs.

offers organized travel experiences, language study, and work camps around the world.
World Learning Exchange Programs Programs range from traditional academic exchanges (during the school year) to three to five week programs in any of five continents.
