The Eurasia Foundation (EF), an int'l non-profit organization funding
programs that build democratic and free market institutions in the in the
NIS, is accepting applications for the following Washington, DC positions:
Grants Manager.  Reporting to the Senior Program Officer for Special
Initiatives, the Grants Manager is responsible for reviewing grant
activities, budgets, and expenditures for EF and US governmental compliance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to reviewing and approving
grant reports and closing out grants, working with program development staff
on design and development of strategic grants and fundraising proposals.
Requirements: undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, professional
training on USG contracts, three to five years experience in a related
field, minimum two years similar analytical and project management
experience. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Russian are
required. Work experience in the NIS or Central/Eastern Europe helpful.
Some travel required. 
Program Assistant. Reporting to both the Executive Vice President and
Executive Director of Program Development, the Program Assistant provides
administrative support to the DC Program staff, coordinates the grant file
information flow in DC, conducts research, reviews inquires and meets with
potential grantees.  Requirements include a college degree, preferably in a
relevant field such as economics, political science, international affairs,
or area studies.   Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and
ability to handle multiple tasks are essential. Computer skills, including
word processing, databases, Internet, and spreadsheets required. Fluency in
written and spoken English required.  Work or study experience in the NIS is
desirable. Intermediate Russian required.
