International philanthropic foundation seeks experienced  Executive Vice
President.  Reporting to the President, the Executive Vice President manages
all aspects of the day to day operations of the Foundation and is
responsible for all internal management issues.  Responsibilities include
but not limited to refining and implementing the Foundation's strategic
vision, managing the annual operating plan process, supervising senior level
staff based in Washington, DC and overseas, working with regional vice
presidents to maintain and improve an innovative grant program, establishing
achievable fundraising goals and spending priorities, and maintaining strong
internal policies and operational procedures. This position is based in
Washington, DC  and requires some traveling to the overseas offices.
Qualifications include relevant experience with political and economic
development in the NIS, experience in business, non-profit, or government.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills are required.  International
experience in living or working in the Eurasia region as well as knowledge
of Russian desirable, but not required.  Advance degree in public policy,
international development or business or combination experience plus degree
