IREX Seeks Potential US Partners for USAID-funded "Partnerships, Networking,
Empowering and Roll-Out" (PartNER) Program
About the PartNER Program
The PartNER program is financed by the US Agency for International
Development (USAID) and will provide three million dollars in funding and
technical assistance to partnership projects that contribute to social and
economic development in the Volga Federal District (VFD) in Russia.  For

IREX has recently completely the first Round of competition for existing
partnerships between US and Russian organizations.  Rounds II through IV of
the PartNER program will support new partnerships: those between US and
Russian organizations and those between Russian organizations. The PartNER
program will encourage new partnerships between U.S. organizations and
Russian organizations from the cities of Saratov, Kazan, Perm, Ulyanovsk,
Kirov and Ufa.  U.S. organizations that wish to cooperate with Russian
organizations from these cities should submit a Profile Application to the
PartNER program.
In addition, U.S. organizations that wish to partner with Russian
organizations from other cities in the VFD may submit Profile Applications
and participate in the new partnership competition.
Please note that the Profile Application will be used to collect information
on U.S. organizations interested in partnering with Russian organizations;
it is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). IREX will also distribute this
Profile Application to collect information from interested Russian
organizations. It will then collect this information and create an online
database of U.S. and Russian organizations through which those very same
organizations, or others, may explore and solicit potential partners to work
with under Round II of the PartNER program.
In June, IREX will release the RFP and distribute it to organizations that
have submitted a Profile Application Form.
