Strengthening Human Rights Defenders in Uzbekistan Program

Freedom House seeks candidates for its "Strengthening Human Rights =
Defenders in Uzbekistan" program.  This temporary trainer position would =
last approximately two months (beginning in October, 2001), with stipend =
and all travel expenses covered. The position would involve working with =
several host human rights organizations in Uzbekistan to provide on-site =
technical advice.
 Qualifications: =20
 Areas of human rights expertise include:
=B7       experience setting up and/or maintaining database,
=B7       human rights monitoring, documentation, and reporting,
=B7       interviewing techniques,
=B7       technological assistance, and more general organizational =
development issues.
(The trainer would only need to be experienced in a few but not all =
categories.)=20
Fluency in Russian is required.
