The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace sponsored a major
international conference to mark the ten-year anniversary of the
collapse of the Soviet Union. Russia Ten Years After examined the
political, economic, security, and social changes that have affected
Russia over the past decade and analyzed Russia's evolving place in
the world. Held in early June 2001, video and transcripts of the
entire event are now available. Extensive information about the
