[CivilSoc] Poles and Ukrainians Sought for Freedom House Program

Freedom House (www.freedomhouse.org) is seeking two Senior Program
Officers for the Poland-America-Ukraine-Cooperative Initiative
(PAUCI) (www.pauci.org).  The purpose of this trilateral USAID-funded
grant program is to foster linkages and strengthen the cooperative
relationship between Ukraine and Poland, and to take advantage of
acquired expertise and lessons learned in Poland's successful
transition to free-market.  The tasks of the Senior Program Officers
will include managing one or more projects, promoting the projects
and the PAUCI program, act as principle contact in Poland or Ukraine
for all inquiries related to the grant program, assist in preparing
semi-annual progress reports and work plans, and other duties as
assigned.
The ideal candidates will possess superior communication and
management skills, have excellent leadership capabilities, be
results-oriented, be conversant in English, Ukrainian and Polish
(Russian will also be considered an asset), and be Polish or
Ukrainian citizens. Applicants should have project management
experience in democratic development programs, including considerable
experience in writing grants. Experience in working with senior
government officials is desired.
