[CivilSoc] looking for partners for Central Asian health NGOs (outside of Central Asia)

Dear Colleagues,
I am writing on behalf of Health NGO Capacity Building
Initiative of
Counterpart International, funded by the United States
Agency for
International Development (USAID). 
The goal of the Health NGO Capacity Building
Initiative is to:
1.	Develop the organizational capacity of 19 target
health NGOs working
to improve the quality of primary health care in the
Central Asian Republics
of the Former Soviet Union.
2.	Develop community outreach and advocacy skills
within target NGOs to
promote quality primary health care.
3.	Promote constructive engagement and policy dialogue
among NGOs,
governments, communities and the private sector on the
issues of primary
health care in the Central Asian Republics.
Within the framework of the program we are including a
"Mentoring
Partnership Grant Program" for health NGOs in Central
Asia.  This grant
program covers 3 countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and
Uzbekistan) and the
organizations range from local grassroots NGOs to
national-level
associations of hospitals.  
We feel that partners from the NIS, Central and
Eastern Europe, and North
America may be most appropriate for our groups to
partner with in order to
gain additional knowledge and understanding in their
working areas.  
As such, we are seeking mature non-governmental
organizations with relevant
models for service delivery, community outreach, and
policy reform to
develop grant proposals with Central Asian
organizations that seek to
partner with these Central Asian NGOs and mentor them
in the above-mentioned
skills.
