Welcome to id21: Communicating Development Research
******************************************************************
Researchers and NGOs produce a constant stream of development research
findings, but all too often those who implement development policy are
unaware of this knowledge. To bridge this knowledge gap, the UK Department
for International Development is backing an Internet-based service to
communicate development research directly to policymakers and practitioners
around the world.
Known as id21, the service features a searchable online collection of short,
one-page (500-word), jargon-free Research Highlights of the latest research
studies. Hundreds of Highlights cover an extensive range of development
topics, organised into three platforms: id21 Society & Economy, id21 Health
and id21 Education.
All our services are FREE and you can find us at:
http://www.id21.org
We have also created three subject-specific email newsletters, id21News
(Society & Economy research), id21HealthNews (Health research) and
id21EducationNews (Education research), which bring you all the latest
material to appear in the id21 online collections.
To subscribe to the email bulletin for your area of interest, send a blank
email message to: [email protected]
In the SUBJECT field include the words:
'subscribe id21news'
OR
'subscribe id21HealthNews'
OR
'subscribe id21EducationNews'
