The major goal of the International Civil Society Forum (ICSF) on Democracy, Good Governance and Civil Society will be to explore the avenues for responding to the challenges facing democratic movements and civil society organizations in the countries of new and restored democracies by bringing together our own analyses of the current status of democratic systems, institutions, and processes worldwide. The Forum will also address the challenges to democracy-building at global, regional and national levels, the nature of civil society and its critical role in the processes of democratic institutionalization and consolidation, especially in post-conflict countries. For more information see our "Call for Participation and Papers" and a Tentative Agenda of the Forum. If you are interested in participating in the ICSF-2003 or having a representative of your organization attend this Forum, please visit our website at www.icsf-2003.mn to get more information and fill out an application form online.

We would be very much appreciate it if you could disseminate the information on the ICSF-2003 to your partner organizations in your country and region, whom you consider might be interested in participating in the ICSF-2003 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
